Cute Mail from Hong Kong & Switzerland

Good morning, day, afternoon or night, whichever you're having right now!

For me, it's morning. I woke up today with a lot of energy and excitement for everything that's going to happen today! :D

But here is some mail I received earlier this month:

The letter is from Chloe, Hong Kong, and the cupcake postcard is from a friend from Switzerland. I think they're both super cute!

 As soon as I saw the "Please open gently" text on the envelope, I almost didn't even want to take the picture because I just wanted to see what was inside! :D

And this is what was inside:

Turned out it was the cutest mini booklet/flipbook/letter ever! *__*

On the last page there was a small drawing by Chloe's sister which I think is really adorable! And in the picture there's also the stamp that was on the card I got from Switzerland :

Christmas Card Project

I had a little Christmas card factory going on this year and here are the results! :)

I laminated these cards and put all the decorations inside - it was a lot of fun! I love this technique so much because you can make the cards look nice on both sides ^^ I sent these to my relatives, friends, penpals.. in Finland, Switzerland, Poland, USA, Germany... :D

Mail Week 47 (3/3) - Outgoing & Incoming

Heyy! Here's the part three of this week's mail ♥

Today we're going to theatre to celebrate my grandparents' wedding anniversary and have a good family dinner. What are you doing today? :)

I was soo in Christmas mood when taking these pictures, that's why the background is what it is. :D And talking about Christmas, I've had a little Christmas card factory going on this weekend. I can't wait to show you the cards I've made! Have you already made/bought some Christmas cards? 

First I want to show you this envelope I sent to Tinne, Belgium  ↴

I sent her some Finnish stamps in the exchange of some nice coins (we'll get to that later..) ↴

Also I've sent and received and sent again postcards.. The left one is for a Disney PC swap on Swap-bot (the first one never made it so I had to resend, ugh >_<) and the other one is for a Chaincard Project on Instagram (my card's here). It's from the U.S. (NY) and I already sent it off to Scotland. :) It's so rude that the post officers have ruined those pretty stamps with a marker!! ↴

I also received some really nice coins from Lily in this envelope (notice the stamp, I think those are so funny :D) ↴

Especially the Malaysian one (left) is soo pretty! ♥

Now to the coins from Tinne! If I remember right, this is the first time for me to receive something from Belgium :)

Mail, mail, mail..

First of all: It's been a very dreary day which means crappy light, I'm sorry about that. :/

Anyway, here are two things to show you from last week. Mail is traveling soooo slowly these days because of the postal strikes :c I have a lot of mail traveling either to or from (or in, too) Finland and it's taking so long..

This postcard is for the first chain card project that I've ever joined and I'm so excited! The path will be Finland - Scotland - Hong Kong- USA - Finland :)

And here is a letter I received from Chloe, Hong Kong ^^

Oh, and last weekend I was at the Finnish Handicrafts 2015 Fair (Käsityömessut Tampereella) and I thought of making a short post about that as well when I have time. :)

My Sticker Slapped PC & a Letter

I chose "Childhood" as the theme of my postcard. :) The card went to Washington, USA.

Today was the first day of my last school period this year and I think I've finally gotten my motivation back! :) In this period I'll have only 4 courses out of six: French (I have no idea how I'm gonna keep up with all my language studies xD), philosophy and two English courses (basic class course and oral communication). I'm thinking of starting a writing course as well but I'm not sure yet :)

Ja suomeksikin tietty! Oon nykyään kirjoittanut postauksia lähes poikkeuksetta vain englanniksi, koska oon ajatellut, että sitä lähes kaikki taitaa ymmärtää. Olisi kuitenkin kiva kuulla teidän suomalaisten lukijoiden näkökulmasta, että tykkäisittekö lukea postauksia myös suomeksi vai onko englanti okei. Ja muutenkin olisi kiva kuulla, mitä teille kuuluu. Today I'm excited to show you more incoming mail! These came today, they're both swaps.

My friends (most of them) don't really seem to understand how I can be so excited about mail but I count on you guys, you know what a nice mailday is able to do for your mood. ;D

This postcard is from Tina, Mississippi. I was excited to join one of those Sticker Slapped PC swaps because they seem like a lot of fun and straight after joining I headed to make my own postcard. I think it's not received yet but I'll show you the card I sent when I know it's reached its destination. :)

And the yellow envelope came from Ema, Lithuania. It's from another Used Stamps swaps ^^

Hi! I hope everyone's having a great beginning of November :) I just came home from yoga and now have some time to write before going to sauna, relaxing evening I would say ♡

My partner said that she also likes foreign coins so I decided to send some old Finnish coins (penni) :)

For what I know, at least the postcard is already received. Now I'm just waiting for my other mail to reach their destinations.. :)

And I just realized today is exactly 100 days from the last night in Turkey! I still can't believe it! Time is a strange thing, it always amazes me. So tomorrow is a day when I've been at home again for total 100 days. Wow. O__O That's all I can say really.

Happy (Disney-ish) mail ✿♥‿♥✿

What would be better than having an autumn holiday, no school stress, warm weather, homemade marshmallows AND receiving two lovely surprises in the mail?

(Okay, honestly I could think of many other and possibly even better options, like all those things but in the summer lol, BUT at this moment I'm beyond happy and grateful ♥)

Anyway, these cuties totally were surprises! The pink letter is from my new penpal from Hong Kong and the card is from Anaheim, California. It was a "Disney PC Swap" and my partner wanted to send me that postcard from Disneyland because she said she lived very near to Disneyland, I love it! :)

Also she had put on some HP stamps I didn't already have! ♥

And here's  a closer look of the letter from Chloe! Funny coincidence, she also sent me something related to Disneylands, stickers from the Hong Kong Disneyland! :D I love the letter a lot ^^

My first mail from Hungary!

Helloo!!

Today I don't really have much to talk about honestly.. The first exam week for this year is starting on Tuesday and I'm just trying to study as much as I can. Though I've also tried to avoid all that oh-so-boring studying by keeping myself busy with letter writing :D It has worked very well so far!

Today I also went to pick blueberries and mushrooms with mom, we came back with two full buckets of lingonberries. Makes sense, right?

Anyway, yesterday I also received my first mail ever from Hungary, a postcard from my lovely Hungarian friend from the Turkey camp. I love it! Barbara, I don't know if you'll ever see this but if you do, thanks! :)

Mail & Great Weather ♥

I can't believe it's already been three weeks of school, time has went soo fast! The weather's been amazing and I've been able to wear dresses etc at school which is wonderful but also strange at the same time because usually Finland is very cold already in the end of August. :D The pictures below are from Parainen where we have a summer cottage. The water was so amazing and clear ♥

Here's today's mail: postcards to Turkey & Denmark and letters from Poland & China and a postcard from Ireland. Not bad, I'd say :)

Mail to Poland, Hong Kong, Hungary, China...

Yes, I've spent this day (okay, yesterday.. I'm just posting this late haha) catching up on my mail and it feels great!! Doing something normal always relaxes me ^^ And we also finally have good weather in Finland!

This first letter is for Kinga, Poland :) I forgot to take a picture of it before closing the envelope, sorry! Fun fact: The envelope is actually made of a page from my grandma's old gardening magazine :D

This one is for Xavier, China. I sent him also two brochures, one from Koli National Park (in Finland) and one from Ayasofya Hamam - Turkish bath.

The brochures were so heavy that I had to add some more stamps.. The reindeer didn't have to travel alone :D

This colourful letter is now on its way to Poland.. My last letter to Martyna never reached her so I wanted to try again ^^

Also I sent three cards to my friends from that Bursa camp in Turkey, to Poland, Hong Kong and Hungary!
