Flowers Everywhere

Hey!

How are you? I think I'm still lacking motivation, inspiration and whatnot but I'm here anyway. :D

I'm sorry for being M.I.A for so long! I've been busy organizing my life (sounds cliched but actually it's not) and, surprisingly, everything looks much clearer now. There's only one school period left (and only one exam week, yes!) and I still don't really get it. This year went by so quickly! In a couple of weeks I'll be in Rome with  my class and I'm so excited! I'm also about to get my car driving license soon (next Wednesday I hope!). That, and the struggle of finding a summer job have been my number one stress makers lately. But now I also have a summer job and it happens to be something I really love to do! There's also a lot of other exciting things about to happen in Summer. Finally I feel like I can actually breath. I love the weather outside, especially all the flowers, and those were my inspiration to edit these mail pictures haha...

So, in the middle of all the other things in my super busy high school life (haha), I've also sent mail. Occasionally, people ask me why I send mail and isn't it boring blah blah and right now I could say I'm doing this because it's my number one stress reducer. Making others happy makes me happy. :)

All these letters etc. below are quite old already and probably they've all traveled to their destinations by now so please don't mind. :D

These three went to Poland, China and Sri Lanka:

I loved making those envelopes! I used these Finns-are-so-weird stamps:

This letter is to Shine, Chine:

This one is to Martyna, Poland:

And this one is to Suhanya, Sri Lanka:

In her last letter she sent me a magnet so I wanted to send her a magnet aswell :)

And this yellow letter I sent to Emilia, my pretty much first actual Finnish penpal ever:

Here's what was inside:

Oh, and the final chain card from the other flower themed chain, ready to be sent back to Malaysia:

Aaand, here's the reply I got from Emilia the first Finnish penpal of mine:

I just LOVE how beautiful the envelope is! And the matching stamps!

On the back it says "open immediately" which is pretty much what I did as soon as I received the letter :D

I was so awed when I opened the envelope, everything was just so pretty!

And I love how she'd put all the letter papers separately (or how should I call that? xD)! For example, in that picture below it says "here you can find 5 and 6" :)

And this letter I got from Daria, Germany:

I love how the envelope was filled with all those cute stickers, stationery and such!

And this letter I sent to Sara, Malaysia:

The envelope looks quite bad in the picture.. But anyway, I tried a bit marbling with it and it didn't turn out the way I had hoped but I still like the result. :) I put one of those stamps on her letter too:

That's all from now. Thanks for reading!  Let's see when you'll hear from me the next time :D

Mail just a few days after Christmas

Heyy! I just came back home, I was in Stockholm with my godparents and my godmother's niece.

Here is some outgoing mail from the first few days after Christmas !

First, two flower themed chaincards (Instagram) I sent to Malaysia and Japan (my shadow looks so funny in this picture!):

Also I sent a letter to Shine, China:

The envelope I sent her letter in (notice the Christmas tree a.k.a. the prettiest shooting background ever):

--> And then to the incoming mail!

First, a beautiful Christmas present from Daria, Germany:

Unfortunately the paper had torn a bit in mail but no damage inside! I love the decorations!
She sent me a lot of pretty stationery, cool candy, a notebook, tapes, a keychain, a card.... Oh, and a thing I don't know the name of in English. A key housing perhaps? If someone knows how to call it, please tell me! :D

This pretty little one is from Chloe, Hong Kong:

Inside the envelope I found this Christmas card...

...which turned out to be many cards put together as a letter! I love the idea! My friends are so creative :)

Inside the little 'envelope' in the picture below were...

...three coins from Hong Kong! I love them!

Also there was another cool little pocket in the 'letter' with stickers from the Hong Kong Disneyland inside ^^

Thanks, girls! <3

Christmas Mail ♡

Hii!

Lately I've been sooo busy with school and making Christmas cards/gifts that I haven't been sending that much mail but here's a quick update anyway! :)

Tomorrow's the last day of school this year and also I'm taking the English oral exam tomorrow which will be the last exam of this exam week and the whole year! Yey! I also started my driving school this month and the first driving lesson will be on next Monday. ^^

So here's some the mail of these few weeks:

1. A letter to Jade, California with... 2. ..a Christmas themed Mail Tag! 3. The envelope which I think is really cute ^^ 4. A beautiful letter from Tabby, California! That picture is the only one with the normal looking colours because I left from school earlier on Tuesday and was able to take the picture before the sunset (literally at 2 pm or something xD)

1. Two mails from last week (? or something, I can't remember :D): a chain card and an Instagram swap! 2. Stamps on the chain card so far :) 3. A close-up of the Instagram swap I sent to Irem, Turkey 4. A letter to Daria which has already been received some time ago because I got the reply today! :D I'll upload the picture during the weekend so you can see it!

Tiger = Paradise (Haul!! ♥)

First to my penpals & others who I'm swapping with: I have received a lot of mail lately, probably also yours (Don't worry, it's just me being lazy :D), and I'll show them here tomorrow. Also, I've sent some mail but it'll take longer for them to arrive because of the strikes..

My number one favorite crafting store in Finland is definitely Tiger! You always find something that you just desperately need - even though you've never before even known that the item existed. Do you guys feel me? Does that ever happen to you? You just see something and you have know idea how you've lived without it :D So obviously I'm doing a little Tiger haul now, partly because I want to and partly because there's no mail coming in a few days because of the postal strikes in Finland.

Jee, välillä taas kirjoittelua suomeksikin! :)

Also one thing that makes me love Tiger more is how the packages have those funny little texts on them, such as "Did you know that the average person spends 2 weeks of his/her life waiting for a traffic light to change?" or "A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to." -Gandalf the Grey.

Mä tykkään myös tosi paljon noista hauskoista pikku teksteistä pakettien ja pakkausten päällä, kuten "Did you know that the average person spends 2 weeks of his/her life waiting for a traffic light to change?" tai "A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to." -Gandalf the Grey. :)

I might also like these cute shopping bags, just a bit ;)

Address labels 1(parchment paper) envelopes 2€  ✿  Etiketit, joista ainakin osaa ajattelin käyttää osoitteiden kirjoittamiseen (1€) ja ihanat pergamenttipaperiset kirjekuoret 2

One of the impulse purchases, a DIY jigsaw puzzle (1€) . I have some potential using ideas for it, let's see which one I'll do :D    Palapeli, jonka voi itse koristella (1 ). Mulla on muutamia ideoita, mitä tekisin sillä, mutta katsotaan nyt milloin saan inspiraation toteuttaa jonkun ideoistani :D

These tapes aren't from Tiger, I think I found them from Suomalainen Kirjakauppa (Finnish bookstore). They were something around 3€    Nämä nätit teipit taisin löytää Suomalaisesta Kirjakaupasta! Oli pakko ottaa, kun maksoivat vain 3€ ^^

And last but not least, small heart stickers (0.5 €) and tiny flags that I got for 2€ Pieniä sydäntarroja, joilla on kyllä aina käyttöä ja suomenlippuja. Tarrat maksoivat 50 senttiä ja liput 2

Surprisingly, I didn't buy that much! :D But those were my latest purchasings anyway, I hope you liked them as much as I do haha ^^ See you again tomorrow! Ihme kyllä, en loppujen lopuksi ostanutkaan niin paljoa kuin yleensä! Toivottavasti kuitenkin tykkäsitte tästä lyhyestä esittelystä :) Huomenna siis taas palaillaan!

A small birthday package to Germany!

Hiii! I haven't had any time or motivation to send mail lately... soo here is a small parcel I sent out to Germany and which is already received! :)

My penpal had birthday and I wanted to send her a little something because she also sent me a gift when I had my birthday. Here's what I sent her:

Chocolate (I mean, seriously. :D), chewing gum, a pen, shower gel, other candies, erasers, stickers, a nail file, magnet, brochures... It was really nice to put those together! And my penpal also seemed to like them which is of course the whole point :)

Unfortunately I certainly had no time to take a picture of the package itself (as I was literally running to the post office after school haha) but I decorated it with light green Moomin gift wrapping paper. :D

Grasshoppers & late posted letter

Haha, I just realized I haven't posted this letter I sent to Daria (Germany) even though I just posted a letter from her.. Oops. :D So these posts are in strange order, I hope you don't mind ^^

I sent her some Finnish labels/stickers (my Finn readers know those for sure ;D) and used stamps and a flag sticker. I'm in love with that bear stationery!

I like those circular flower stamps :)

Blue Letter ➸

Hola!

Here is a letter I sent out some time (?) ago to California, USA! I personally really like that envelope because of the texture, it's made of an old blue painting :)

I used a sheet of one of those notebooks I got from Lily as the writing paper, I love it! Stitch is so cute!

The letter included some glitter sticker things (:D), an eraser and Finland's flag sticker :)

The letter turned out so heavy (mostly because of the envie) I had to put some more stamps ^^

I'll talk to you soon! :)
