Flowers Everywhere

Hey!

How are you? I think I'm still lacking motivation, inspiration and whatnot but I'm here anyway. :D

I'm sorry for being M.I.A for so long! I've been busy organizing my life (sounds cliched but actually it's not) and, surprisingly, everything looks much clearer now. There's only one school period left (and only one exam week, yes!) and I still don't really get it. This year went by so quickly! In a couple of weeks I'll be in Rome with  my class and I'm so excited! I'm also about to get my car driving license soon (next Wednesday I hope!). That, and the struggle of finding a summer job have been my number one stress makers lately. But now I also have a summer job and it happens to be something I really love to do! There's also a lot of other exciting things about to happen in Summer. Finally I feel like I can actually breath. I love the weather outside, especially all the flowers, and those were my inspiration to edit these mail pictures haha...

So, in the middle of all the other things in my super busy high school life (haha), I've also sent mail. Occasionally, people ask me why I send mail and isn't it boring blah blah and right now I could say I'm doing this because it's my number one stress reducer. Making others happy makes me happy. :)

All these letters etc. below are quite old already and probably they've all traveled to their destinations by now so please don't mind. :D

These three went to Poland, China and Sri Lanka:

I loved making those envelopes! I used these Finns-are-so-weird stamps:

This letter is to Shine, Chine:

This one is to Martyna, Poland:

And this one is to Suhanya, Sri Lanka:

In her last letter she sent me a magnet so I wanted to send her a magnet aswell :)

And this yellow letter I sent to Emilia, my pretty much first actual Finnish penpal ever:

Here's what was inside:

Oh, and the final chain card from the other flower themed chain, ready to be sent back to Malaysia:

Aaand, here's the reply I got from Emilia the first Finnish penpal of mine:

I just LOVE how beautiful the envelope is! And the matching stamps!

On the back it says "open immediately" which is pretty much what I did as soon as I received the letter :D

I was so awed when I opened the envelope, everything was just so pretty!

And I love how she'd put all the letter papers separately (or how should I call that? xD)! For example, in that picture below it says "here you can find 5 and 6" :)

And this letter I got from Daria, Germany:

I love how the envelope was filled with all those cute stickers, stationery and such!

And this letter I sent to Sara, Malaysia:

The envelope looks quite bad in the picture.. But anyway, I tried a bit marbling with it and it didn't turn out the way I had hoped but I still like the result. :) I put one of those stamps on her letter too:

That's all from now. Thanks for reading!  Let's see when you'll hear from me the next time :D

Lack of inspiration & two incoming letters

Hii!

At times I find it really hard to come up with something to write here. This is one of those times.

The school day was normal. Busy, but normal. It's only been like two weeks since I came back from Russia and I'm already feeling the biggest urge to get abroad. So nothing's changed. :D

Only thing that has changed is that I've received these two beauties and they made me super happy!

The letter with many stamps on (I mean, look at them. How pretty!) is from my new penpal Sara from Malaysia and the other is from Shine, China. :)

The stamps on Shine's letter are also really nice:

And the letter overall is amazing!

And so is this one from Sara!

Thanks! :)

I haven't written much lately, I've just been waiting for an inspiration.. Hopefully I'll feel like writing again very soon :D

Two Incoming Mails

Hey!

Nowt that I've came back from the beautiful Saint Petersburg  (The city was truly amazing and the buildings were GORGEOUS, I need to get there again!) I can show you some mail I got before the trip! These two came on the same day:

The pretty letter above is from my new-ish penpal Suhanya from Sri Lanka. The magnet is the so cool!

And the card below is from Ukraine and you can probably tell it's a part of a chain card project, a flower themed one! :D

The card is pretty from both sides! :)

Thanks, ladies!

Spread Love (incoming from Poland and outgoing to HK)

Hey! 💎

This spring is full of traveling for me and I'm not going to complain about it because traveling is what I love. But the thing is that this spring is also full of many other things that I also happen to love. :D So let's just say that this spring is going to be very busy for me and I might not be able to blog as often as usually. I'm doing my best to keep you posted!

About traveling, you might know that I was in Estonia about two weeks ago. It was really nice and I had the best time with my family. Tomorrow I'll be off to Russia with my Russian class (total four people plus two teachers xD) and I'm really looking forward to that!

I'll do my best with catching up with all the lovely mail I've got. Here are two letters from the end of February:

This pink/light purple letter I sent to Chloe, Hong Kong. I'm in love with that stationery and the matching stamp!  I also sent a page of a brochure and two mini flags:

And this little quote note (please ignore my nasty nails xD)

This one is a really nice letter I got from Martyna, Poland:

I love it, thanks

Chaincard Projects Almost Completed

Hey! For everyone who's been wondering how I look like when I get mail, here you go haha:

I was happy to find these three in my mail box yesterday after coming home from school:

They were all chain cards from the chain card projects I've been in! :)

This is my own card that I finally received!! It's flower themed and it traveled all the way from Finland to Japan, and then to Australia and Croatia from where it finally came back to Finland. I love how colorful and pretty the card turned out:

This card is from the same chain than the one I just got but mine was one step ahead :D It's also very colorful:

This one is from my very first chain card project ever. I've already got my own card back but this one is still on its way... I got it from USA:

And here are the two cards that are still continuing their travel:

I sent the cards back to the owners (to Rachel, Scotland & to Chihiro, Japan) which is a relief because both of the cards are pretty much ran out of space :D

Cute Mail from Hong Kong & Switzerland

Good morning, day, afternoon or night, whichever you're having right now!

For me, it's morning. I woke up today with a lot of energy and excitement for everything that's going to happen today! :D

But here is some mail I received earlier this month:

The letter is from Chloe, Hong Kong, and the cupcake postcard is from a friend from Switzerland. I think they're both super cute!

As soon as I saw the "Please open gently" text on the envelope, I almost didn't even want to take the picture because I just wanted to see what was inside! :D

And this is what was inside:

Turned out it was the cutest mini booklet/flipbook/letter ever! *__*

On the last page there was a small drawing by Chloe's sister which I think is really adorable! And in the picture there's also the stamp that was on the card I got from Switzerland :

Thanks! :)

Some Received & Sent Mail

The week before the "prom" week (click!) was full of mail because I wanted to send out as many letters as I could and I was also happy to receive some!

I sent a letter to Tabby in California with some small flags, mail tag and pages of a brochure:

Also I sent this one to Sue, Sri Lanka (also with mini flags and pages of a brochure):

And this one to Martyna, Poland (Why do I think it's not necessary to write what I sent her with the letter? xD):

And before sending the letter above I got a letter from her (well, obviously :D), I really like all of it :

Oh, and the stamps on the letter I sent to California:

With those letters I finally used all my Christmas stamps :D

Now I need to go to sleep, I have to wake up early tomorrow... Bye!

A Flipbook of Sorts

Hi!

Today is the first of my winter break and I'm so excited! Are you also having a holiday now or sometime soon?

As promised, I'll now show you some of my recent mail before I leave to Estonia tomorrow and I can't blog for awhile (again, I know.. sorry!). I'll start with this letter I sent to Jade, California:

I wanted to try something new and so I made my first flipbook ever. I'm not sure if this can be called a flipbook but anyway it's something like that. I mean, it is like a book that you can flip, right? :D

I like how it turned out and I really loved making it! Hopefully the gif is clear enough!

Lately I've been loving the idea of sending a list of songs you listened to while writing the letter so I've been sending a couple of those already. I think it makes the letter more unique and interesting :)

Also I wanted to do something different with my mail tag so I did this:

I wrapped some ribbon around the letter/flipbook and made a bow to give it the final touch:

And here's the envelope I sent her letter in:

I found this cute pink bubble wrap pocket and thought it'd make a good envelope. :)

What do you think? Have you also made flipbook(s)? :)
